Brad Johnson & Killin' time |
|
Brad Johnson started the band in 1998 on the U.S.S. Tarawa in the Middle East while serving in the United States Marine Corps. He and the band were just “Killin' Time” until they got to go home.
Since then, they've had the pleasure of opening for, and performing with, most of the country music's biggest stars: Toby Keith, Chris Ledoux, Tracy Byrd, Rascal Flatts, John Michael Montgomery, Montgomery Gentry, Jason Aldean, Gary Allen, Bellamy Brothers, Smokin' Armadillos, Ricochet, Trick Pony, Andy Griggs, Merle Haggard, Keith Urban, Phil Vassar, Bill Engvall, Larry The Cable Guy, Rodney Carrington, David Ball... the list goes on and on. They also had the honor to play on the start/finish line and on side stages for NASCAR. Brad's music has been played on radio stations throughout the United States and around the World. Professional Bull Riders (PBR) used his song “GOIN' ALL THE WAY” for their promotions. Brad and the band were one of the premier bands at Gilley's in Las Vegas for three years – playing every big weekend including ACM awards, PBR, NASCAR, and the whole two weeks each year for the National Finals Rodeo. Brad has played in every major rodeo. He has also played on a USO tour for the troops around the world. Brad and The Killin' Time Band are regularly featured at THE RANCH in Anaheim, California, Cowboy Country in Long Beach, The Brandin Iron in San Bernardino, and Toby Keith's Bar and Grill in Rancho Cucamonga. They were asked to be the last band to play at the world famous Crazy Horse before they shut down, and had the honor of playing for the goodbye party for Chris Ledoux during Laughlin Rodeo. bradjohnsonmusic.com |
